Con Edison Energy Efficiency Summit 2012

The stage has been set for an ecological showcase like no other. Not only will it be held in one of the largest cities in the world, New York, but it will feature a mixture of cosmopolitan company executives from various industries. These include the architecture, commerce, and home sectors, all of which rely much on power consumption. The hosts of the function will be none other than Con Edison, a company that has benefited many consumers with sustainable electrical and gas resources.

The function will take place at a leading hotel in the Big Apple. Interestingly enough, the hosts have selected the 1st of May, as the date for the showcase. This, as many know is designated as Labor Day internationally, though in the United States the date normally switches to autumn months. Therefore, the coincidence is a big boost for it will remain relevant to participants who would like to see sustainable power use in work places.

At the practical level, there will be experienced professionals from the host company and other entities to illustrate to participants on how to salvage power resources. Thus, many start-up industries that suffer the blunt of high power needs and huge costs will get insights on how to manage their energy resources. It is indeed an objective of the congregation to address issues on a public platform that have hitherto been only accessible to regular consumers. For example, young business executives and private enterprises professionals will get an ear on how to reduce their accumulating power bills. People will learn how to boost existing green technology for more sustainable living.

Getting a business partner in an existing business.

A partnership is an association of two or more persons, known as general partners, who act as co-owners of a business and operate it for profit.

Since each state has specific laws on the formation and dissolution of partnerships, as well as laws regarding the legal responsibilities of each partner, business owners are well advised to consult an attorney and a tax accountant before establishing a partnership.

Finding that second person to help build your business idea into the next household name is no easy task. A good business partner shares your vision and enthusiasm, bringing expertise in the areas in which you are inexperienced. It’s someone who understands the legal and financial responsibilities endemic to sharing a business. Most importantly, it’s someone with whom you get along.

It’s a lot easier to find someone for limited risks than to find a full partner. A partnership is relatively simple to establish and does not require the same amount of record keeping as a corporation. Finding a partner is to date first. While you’re engaged in the less-involved forms of collaborating , observe the behavior of the company or person you are working with, listen to their war stories, particularly about litigation or financial problems, and notice your own emotional reactions to the interactions you have. If all signs are “go,” then proceed to proposing.

There are compelling reasons, such as your own, for finding co-venturers. There are more ways to collaborate than having a partnership, which requires a high level of intimacy, albeit business intimacy. Intimacy does not develop from a contract, however laboriously and carefully drafted.
